Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to claim and promotion form part of these Terms and Conditions.

2. The offer is only open to residents of Australia who purchase any specially marked copy of one of the novels featured in the VIVID Promotion from participating stores.

3. Promotion commences on 24/04/2008 and ends on 31/10/2008 (the Promotional Period). Claim forms must be received by 31/10/2008. Last mail to be received by 31/10/2008.

4. Employees and immediate family members of the promoter and of participating bookstores are not eligible to enter.

5. To be eligible to receive a free book a claimant must send one (1) completed Claim Form (available at www.vividfiction.com.au) PLUS one (1) promotional sticker from a specially marked novel featured in the VIVID Promotion, PLUS one (1) proof of purchase, to VIVID Fiction Promotion, Allen and Unwin Pty Ltd, PO Box 8500, St Leonards NSW 1590, Australia. The Claim Form must be received by 31/10/2008. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of claims and to disqualify any claimant who tampers with the redemption process or who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

6. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of your free book from receipt of Allen & Unwin receiving a valid claim.

7. The claim form entitles the redeemer to a book of equal or lesser value to the specially marked novel purchased as part of the VIVID promotion. Where available, the book will be in the genre the redeemer specifies on the claim form. The promoter’s decision on which book to provide is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. By redeeming this offer you are stating that you accept the terms of use of this promotion.

9. The Promoter, their agents and distributors cannot replace any lost, stolen or damaged books and reserve the right to withdraw or amend any details without prior notice.
